My Two Year Roadmap for CAS Activities

Year 1 September and October

1. I analyzed the long goal activities and personal challenges to develop in the  next 18 months
2. I was also decided to receive the Confirmation in 2017 and dedicate the needed time for preparation
3. I confirmed my commitment to continue helping my family in the donation activities with Hospital San Juan de Dios.
4. I started my blog in English as a personal challenge and also as a tool to improve my English writings skills

Year 1 November, December and January

1. I reviewed the progress of my goals, successes and challenges to be included in the CAS plan in year 1 (poetry, athletics sport, collaboration in several activities in the school, etc.).
2. Planning meetings with the teachers to help me in the tasks with CAS activities in addition to find out what are the additional activities I can engage
3. Trying to develop my blog with a new design and improving the visual impact

Year 1 February, March, April and June

1. I finished the design of the blog and started to include the relevant information from all activities Creativity, Action and Services.
2. I organized a dedicated time in my Creativity activities (specially after my daily tasks from my IB regular workload): Poetry, Fan Art and Digital Photo
3. I keep focused in the Action activities: Athletics (50-meter Sprint and 50-meter Hurdles) with regular training sessions after the classes 2 days per week

Year 2 September and October

1. I reviewed short and long term goals set from year 1 and begin major planning process for my long term project about the "Misericordia Short Movie"
2. I started the collection of information and using a city map to plan the locations. I am using the book but most of information is captured from online sources.
3. During this term, I continued with my commitment to allocate time and efforts working in the activities of poetry and digital photo. I learnt via some online courses how to create better digital photos using my mobile device.
4. In October, I helped my parents to prepare the donation of some articles and clothes to the Albergue - San Juan de Dios. We visited the place and meet with the people that is working in the shelter helping homeless people. It was a deep experience to understand how important is to dedicate our time to help the ones that needed.
5. I enjoyed a weekend to execute the planned Action: Canyoning and Via Ferrata Climbing in Huesca. I learnt that beyond the fun and the emotion of the experience, it is very important the security measurements and follow the instructions from the monitor to avoid fatal accidents in the mountains. My uncle is a doctor specialized in rescuing people in the Pirineos and he explained to us how to act in this difficult situations.
